I Owe, I Owe, So the Gospel I Will Sow! Romans 1:14
I. I Owe the Lord Who Sacrificed to Give Me the Gospel
Romans 1:14
- I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and
to the unwise. 15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to
you that are at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for
it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew
first, and also to the Greek.
II. I Owe the Lord Who Saved Me By the Gospel
Psalms 116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was
brought low, and he helped me.7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD
hath dealt bountifully with thee. 8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death,
mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. 9 I will walk before the LORD in
the land of the living. 10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly
afflicted: 11 I said in my haste, All men are liars. 12 What shall I render unto
the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is
the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are
not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your
body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
III. I Owe the Lost Who Need the Salvation of the Gospel
II Corinthians 8:7 Therefore, as ye abound in every
thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your
love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. 8 I speak not by commandment,
but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your
love. 9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was
rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be
rich.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall cal upon the name
of the Lord shall be saved!
I John 3:16
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and
we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this world's
good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion
from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
