Repent – Turn from sin to the Savior!
2. Suit For Shame - and white raiment, that thou mayest be
clothed,and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;

Anoint - to consecrate - to set apart for service

V. Serious Situation – Revelation 3:19 - As many as I love,
I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

2. Rebuke - I rebuke and chasten:
Hebrews 12:6
- For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he
receiveth.

LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the
throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. 8 And if
they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; 9 Then he
sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. 10 He
openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from
iniquity.11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in
prosperity, and their years in pleasures. 12 But if they obey not, they shall
perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge. 13 But the hypocrites
in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
3. Reaction - be zealous therefore,
Zealous – eager, earnest, and enthusiastic, fervent, and
passionate!
Lamentations 3:29
- He putteth his mouth in the dust; if so be there may be hope. 30 He giveth his
cheek to him that smiteth him: he is filled full with reproach. 31 For the Lord
will not cast off for ever: 32 But though he cause grief, yet will he have
compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.
4. Repentance - and repent
I Corinthians 11:32 - But when we are judged, we are
chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
