Heaven or Hog Slop
Mark 5:1
And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the
Gadarenes. 2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him
out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, 3 Who had his dwelling among the
tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: 4 Because that he had
been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked
asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame
him. 5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs,
crying, and cutting himself with stones. 6 But when he saw Jesus afar off, he
ran and worshipped him, 7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to
do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that
thou torment me not. 8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean
spirit. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name
is Legion: for we are many.
Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the
stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the
woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was
born.
Hebrews 11:11
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was
delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who
had promised. 12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead,
so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the
sea shore innumerable.
Mark 5:10
And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.
11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.
Leviticus 11:7
And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth
not the cud; he is unclean to you.
Deuteronomy 14:8
And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is
unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.
Mark 5:12
And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may
enter into them. 13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean
spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a
steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the
sea. 14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the
country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. 15 And they come
to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion,
sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. 16 And they
that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil,
and also concerning the swine. 17 And they began to pray him to depart out of
their coasts. 18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed
with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. 19 Howbeit Jesus suffered
him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great
things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. 20 And he
departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for
him: and all men did marvel.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent
not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that
believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is
come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their
deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither
cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
Luke 19:2
And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the
publicans, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could
not for the press, because he was little of stature. 4 And he ran before, and
climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. 5 And
when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him,
Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. 6
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully. 7 And when they
saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that
is a sinner. 8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the
half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man
by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9 And Jesus said unto him, This
day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
