A God Who Will Remember Psalms
25:6-7
Psalms 25:6
Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have
been ever of old. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.
I. God will remember those Weary from the Storm - Genesis 8:1 - And God remembered Noah, and every
living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a
wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; 2 The fountains also of
the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was
restrained; 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after
the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. 4 And the ark
rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the
mountains of Ararat.
Matthew 11:28
- Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest
Jesus is saying come into my world of rest.
Isaiah 1:18
- Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they
shall be as wool.
Revelation 3:8 - I know thy works: behold, I have set
before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little
strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
I John 2:2 -
And he is the propitiation (appeasement of anger) for our sins: and not for ours
only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
