need of Faithful Loyalty
A. Agony – (4) Charity suffereth long,
B. Amiable - (4a) and is kind;
C. Altruistic (unselfish) - (4b) charity
envieth not;
D. Abase - (4c) charity vaunteth not
itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself
unseemly, seeketh not her own,
Vaunt – means to boast.
II Corinthians 5:15 - And that he died for
all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but
unto him which died for them, and rose again.
Matthew 16:25 – For whosoever will save
his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall
find it.
Matthew 19:21
– Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast,
and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and
follow me.
Romans 14:21 – It is good neither to eat
flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is
offended, or is made weak.
I Corinthians 10:33 – Even as I please all
men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that
they may be saved.
II Corinthians 8:7 –Therefore, as ye
abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all
diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. 8
I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others,
and to prove the sincerity of your love. 9 For ye know the grace of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor,
that ye through his poverty might be rich.
II Corinthians 12:15 - And I will very
gladly spend and be spent for you;
1 John 3:16 - Hereby perceive we the love
of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our
lives for the brethren.
