About Earl Clarkson

Bro. Clarkson is a native of Madison Heights, Virginia. For 27 years he was employed by the Lynchburg Foundry. During that period of his life he was used greatly in lay ministry, serving with the Gideons, Home Bible studies, teaching an Adult Sunday School class and serving as a deacon at Temple Baptist Church. In 1981 he answered the call of God upon his life to preach the Gospel and was ordained into the gospel ministry. Leaving the Lynchburg foundry he became Associate Pastor of Temple Baptist Church. Bro. Earl is a dynamic preacher of the Word of God. His main emphasis is evangelism and soul winning. God has greatly used in this area of ministry and is great demand as a revival speaker around the country. His meetings are marked by soul stirring and life changing decisions. His ministry is one of fervent soul winning to reach the unsaved and sound and regular Bible Study for his fellow church members.

For the past few years he has been extremely active in evangelistic missions work in the United States and around the world. Visiting such countries as Haiti, Cuba, Hungry, Lithuania, Russia, Siberia, Romania, and India. in November he will return to India to help teach training seminars to nationals, where Temple Baptist Church has established 22 churches.
